Recent Awards
Curiosity Camp at Columbia Basin College, July 2014:

The Dream Builders Educational Foundation awarded tuition for 30 students to attend the inaugural Curiosity Camp, hosted by Columbia Basin College at the Bechtel National Planetarium. The $50 tuition for each of the 30 students was provided by donations made to the Dream Builders in an effort to encourage students in Southeastern Washington to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education and careers.

Kiona-Benton High School Guitar Building Project:
The Dream Builder’s Educational Foundation awarded a funding request to the guitar building project at Kiona-Benton High School. The Kiona-Benton City High School woods/engineering program has incorporated guitar building into its Industrial Arts Program curriculum.  Students engage in the actual construction of a solid body electric guitar and leave with a playable instrument. During the construction process, students also learn all the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) that goes into how and why guitars work.
Heidi Jackson Richland School District
The Dream Builder’s Educational Foundation awarded a funding request to Heidi Jackson to attend Space Camp. She wrote and performed her original song about space camp and it has been posted on YouTube.
