Fundraising Efforts

Crystal Apple Awards:
The Tri-City Crystal Apple Award Program was established in 1999 to honor the Mid-Columbia education profession as a whole by identifying a few of the many wonderful classroom teachers, counselors, librarians, and administrators in our seven public school districts who have made a positive impact on the lives of their students. The award program is sponsored by community service groups, businesses, and other organizations that want to recognize and show their appreciation and support for the thousands of outstanding teachers in the Tri-City area. The Special Achievement Award is given each year to a person – not necessarily an educator – who makes a significant contribution to education in the Mid-Columbia. As of March 2012, 175 Tri-City teachers have been recognized as Crystal Apple Award winners. Congratulations to all of them and their supporters. Learn more!

Cavalcade of Authors:
Read, Write, Imagine!
Cavalcade of Authors is dedicated in providing the secondary students of our region access to some of the best Young Adult authors of our modern era. Cavalcade’s special interest is to celebrate Pacific Northwest Authors while introducing students to a variety of genres and subject matter and, furthermore, to promote reading and writing within our community. Cavalcade provides for its participants an authentic writing conference experience where students can learn from the ultimate mentors: the authors of the books they are reading.
Be part of Cavalcade of Authors!

Youth and Justice Forum:
The Youth and Justice Forum is a FREE event to promote ACCESS TO JUSTICE for kids in the Tri-Cities, Washington State area. Kids K-12, parents, and youth workers are all invited. Come and learn more about the law and the legal system, interact with people in law enforcement (and their dogs!), and get answers about juvenile legal rights from leaders in the legal community. Spend Saturday morning learning about how the law can help you and the youth you serve - and get the kids to come!

Individual/Company Contributions:

In return, the donor is assured their request is honored and the donation is tax deductible.
